Design Tips for a better Hero

Did you know that people form an opinion about your landing page in just 0.05 seconds? That split-second judgment decides whether they stick around or click away. That's why we need to put extra care into the hero section because it's the very first thing they see.

Here’s my checklist for designing a hero section that converts:

1. Clear Navigation: Ensure the navigation bar is simple, well laid out, and includes a logo representing your brand identity.

2. Attention-Grabbing Title: Use the headline as a hook to capture visitors' attention and communicate your product's purpose or the goal it helps businesses achieve.

3. Descriptive Subheading: Provide additional information about your product's features and functions in the subtitle to convey its value proposition.

4. Call to Action: Make the main action clear and prominently visible to encourage user interaction and clicking.

5. Social Proof: Show your brand’s trustworthiness by showcasing social proof such as customer reviews, testimonials, or logos of well-known companies endorsing your brand.

Do use this checklist in your next design!
